Disney Latino

Introduction

Disneylatino.com was the main site of Disney in Latin America. It was a multimedia content website organized around characters, movies, series and shows, which brought together the whole Disney entertainment offering for the region. It was a very popular website.

What we did

We did the discovery, the UX and the development.

The site ran on a server-side CMS built by Disney's development center in Budapest. On top of that we built a complex web client application that turned a basic CMS into a modern website: game, video and movie sections, search and navigation by character.

I led the project technically: I defined the frontend architecture, led the team and coded the hardest parts with them.

The project lasted 8 months.
